Kaway'an EcoPark is located in Cavite, Luzon. It is the largest ecological sanctuary blending organic architecture, sustainable materials and community-led tourism in Luzon. Set amid a thriving bamboo forest, the park features synthetic thatch roofed eco-pavilions, a lagoon by a bamboo bridge and cultural spaces that are built with minimal environmental impact, it redefines the way people connect and interact with nature by welcoming them with elegant spaces, regenerative designs and immersive architecture. At the heart of the park is the plastic nipa thatch roofed Grand Pavilion, an unforgettable stage for events that ranges from intimate moments to luxe celebrations.
The Pavilion’s wide-span roof, made of layered artificial nipa thatch and framed by upward-sweeping bamboo poles, feels both grounded and uplifted.
Visually, the Pavilion is a captivating sight. Its immense, organically curved roof, layered with thick plastic thatch roof tiles accented with copper, seems to float above the landscape, supported by a forest of robust bamboo poles that fan upwards. The thatched roof structure embraces openness, its expansive canopy offering shelter while inviting the surrounding greenery and natural light deep within, creating a space that feels both monumental and intimately connected to the earth.
